Our Academic program is as diverse as our student body: ranging from a biology lesson on the Crystal River, to a moment interpretation of Siddhartha, our faculty continually challenge and engage our students.
Because of our unique location, we are able to practice elaborate scientific studies in the local forested area, as well as on the National Lakeshore. Students observe theories and scientific methods firsthand in our classes. Because our science program is so rich in experience, our students often tackle other subjects with the same enthusiasm. Our faculty work to create engaging experiences for the students.
All of our classes adhere to a simple learning philosophy model that we have found to work well for various kinds of learners: we use multiple techniques to provide and explore information within a course and structured support for students based on their individual needs. We empower students to manage their own learning process through various stages of support.
