English as a Second Language Institute
Summer 2011 June 26– August 6
Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, the Leelanau ESL Institute is the ideal summer program for international students ages 14-18 who will be entering grades 9-12. Small class sizes— limited to ten students per level—help to ensure improved English fluency and intensive TOEFL preparation.
ESL Program
- Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Levels
- Emphasis on speaking, listening, reading, writing, applied math concepts and cultural assimilation
- Intermediate and Advanced students may also enroll in some of our academic offerings with the Summer Academy program
- Recreational and cultural activities, designed to introduce students to a healthy American lifestyle.
- Shared living with native English speaking students
- TOEFL instruction offered to Intermediate and Advanced level students
- Idea transitional program to American boarding schools

Tuition, Room and Board
Tuition, Room & Board $7,950.
Application Fee $50.
Personal Student Account $650, which includes a $250 security deposit.
Travel
All airplane travel should be arranged through the Traverse City
Cherry Capital Airport (TVC).
Students should plan to arrive on Sunday, June 25th after 12:00 PM.
Students should plan to depart from Traverse City by 12:00 PM
on Saturday, August 6th.
